The Crisis Center is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence.

Group Opportunities vary depending on time commitment, type and size of group, and experience of the interested group. Call Latasha today to schedule a custom project that fits your group’s objectives!

Hotline Volunteers – Respond to our 24 hour hotline calls by directing clients in need to resources. These volunteers also support our operations by assisting with clerical projects. Agency provided 40-hour Domestic Violence Training and a commitment to one-4-hour shift per week for one year is required.

Community Ambassador -Articulate the mission and programs of the agency and stores to the general public. Spreading awareness of our services and breaking the silence of DV by representing our agency at fairs and other community events. Agency provided DV 101 and experience public speaking a plus. Schedule varies.

Driver – Help needed driving our box truck and doing pickups and deliveries of donations. Valid driver’s license and insurance a must. Weekly commitment desired.

Clerical Support – Reception duties, data entry, and other office related tasks needed. Flexible schedule, office experience preferred. .

Special Projects/Events - Assist with duties related to hosting one or all three of our in person fundraising events. Flexible schedule and no experience needed.

Childcare Worker/House Manager- Oversee shelter children while parents are attending group sessions. Toys, board games, books, art supplies, etc. available onsite. Provide support encouragement, attention and a safe environment. Assist Residential staff with operational management of the shelter. 2 hour time slots available M-F. Background check required, childcare experience preferred.

Neat Repeat Stores – Be a part of our vibrant retail team at either store location. Responsibilities are matched to your interests and talents. Roles include: cashier, donation sorter, greeter, fitting room associate, team leader, fashion advisor, and visual merchandiser. 4 hour shift per week and agency provided DV101 within first year. Experienced retailers welcome!
