Crisis Intervention/Prevention Specialist We are currently searching for dedicated clinical professionals to provide compassionate psychotherapy services to individuals with a mental health, intellectual/developmental disability.
or substance use disorder diagnosis.
Responsibilities: Must obtain residence within 30 minutes of Lincoln County. Duties will include providing immediate emergency crisis intervention services including written assessments. Provide 24-7 telephone access to county for behavioral health crises and provide face to face services as needed during and outside of normal office hours. Management of the clients’ medical records including, but not limited to, completion of all clinical documentation in a timely manner and the development and updating of Individual Service Plans. Providing consultation and education crisis services to the community as needed. Participate in clinical staff meetings, general staff meetings and in-service training.
Education Master’s degree in psychology or a Mental Health related field
Qualifications:
Valid Mississippi Driver’s License Pass a Criminal Background Investigation Must be proficient in computer skills for daily documentation with Electronic Medical Records
