Position: Recruiting Assistant
Primary job duties:
This role will assist with functions such as staffing, employee onboarding, training and development, and retention. You'll be responsible for delivering an effective recruiting strategy to ensure the availability of qualified applicants to meet current and anticipated employment needs.
Responsibilities:
· Post open positions on job boards, websites and social media as directed.
Become familiar with Operational roles to understand job functions of open positions.
Screens candidates, selects qualified candidates and initiates first round interview via telephone/email. Updates HRIS system as necessary.
Schedules qualified/ interested candidates for on-site interviewing phase using HRIS system.
· Work directly with the General Managers to establish staffing needs.
Sort through resumes for various job positions to narrow down the most qualified candidates.
May attend external job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities as well as assisting with the coordination and execution of internal engagement efforts.
Review, upload, and post job descriptions, as needed.
Update and send out weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruiting emails and reports.
Performs other administrative duties that support the HR department.
Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years Human Resources department or related experience preferred.
Experience in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
Knowledge skills and abilities:
Ability to communicate in professional tone and manner in both verbal and written means.
Excellent organizational and ownership skills.
Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency.
Exceptional computer skills/written and verbal etiquette
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
