The Position:

The Science teacher will be assigned four sections of Chemistry and one elective course, preferably Psychology. The teacher will work alongside other Math and Science teachers within our school’s STEM Department. The job begins immediately.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Secondary Science Education is required
• Master’s Degree in Secondary Science Education is preferred but not required
• Prior successful full-time teaching experience in grades 7-12 is strongly preferred
• Able to use technology to further student learning (i.e. Google Classroom, Zoom, PowerSchool)
• Prior experience in Cristo Rey schools, Teach for America, Alliance for Catholic Education, or Nativity Miguel schools is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits: Annual salary range is $55,000-$65,000; the exact amount is commensurate with experience and benchmarked with our peer local and Cristo Rey Network schools. Comprehensive benefits are included in the overall compensation package.
