Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and caring Critical Care Nurse Anesthesiologist to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Anesthesiologist in the sedation or numbing of patients in preparation for surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will also include examining patients and reviewing their medical histories with them, monitoring vital signs, and creating recovery plans. The ideal candidate works well under pressure and is dedicated to providing the best possible patient care.
Responsibilities
Examine patients and review their medical histories
Monitor vital signs and manage medical concerns during surgery
Develop individualized recovery plans
Consult with other physicians regarding each patient’s care and recovery
Qualifications
Master’s degree in physiology, pharmacology, anatomy, biochemistry, or a related field
Completion of an anesthesia training program
Valid certification from the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
Able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting, and pulling
