Job Summary Critical to Quality Operators will demonstrate the ability to correctly use established precision measuring devices and methods in performing in process inspection of parts coming off their designated machines. Operators capture, validate and record defined characteristics as defined in the Critical to Quality Module.
Education and Experience High School Diploma/GED

Primary Job Duties
Read and interpret basic dimensions from blueprints
Use hand measuring tools to inspect parts
Use visual measuring tools to inspect parts
Use inspection gauges to inspect parts
Identify burrs with or without magnification
Understand and interpret discus requirements.
Understand the basic functions of the various machine controllers.
Understand the CTQ (Critical to Quality) Module and how to interpret the various recorded observations.
Rework parts as assigned
Assist in retooling
Perform changeovers and cleaning of machines
Refill oil and Lubrication in the machines.
Keep bar loaders stocked with material.
Stop production if serious product defects are present.
Report the defects, results, or other regularly reported quality control data.
Document testing procedures and results from inspections.
Review statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.
