**Payroll/Miscellaneous Accounting Duties **
The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of employees.
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain accurate books on accounts receivable, payroll from timecard entry to printing checks, garnishments and paying payroll taxes, daily financial entries, and reconciliations. Perform other daily accounting tasks such as monthly general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software – Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations in multiple states. Strong organizational skills.
PHYSICAL AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, move, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and turn frequently. Ability to reach, lift and maneuver items of varying dimensions and sizes up to approximately 20 lbs. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are necessary.
- Strictly adheres to confidentiality requirements. Appropriately prioritizes workload. Thorough knowledge of company policies, benefits, scheduling tools, and payroll processing procedures. Must work efficiently through organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Requires knowledge of one and two step math calculations (i.e., addition, subtraction, and percent calculations) and basic computer skills.
- Operates calculator, telephone, computer software and electronic equipment.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, while demonstrating an understanding of Company Values as reflected in personal and professional conduct.
- Must concentrate and deal with interruptions well, work independently, and take initiative. Good attendance is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Generally, work in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- 4/10 Schedule with Friday’s off
