Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a File Auditor. As a key member of our company, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating insurance claim estimates to ensure accuracy, adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction and estimating, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards. Pay is hourly between $20-$26 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Review insurance claims files to assess completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Verify policy coverage and determine if the estimate is written inside coverage for the policy.
Analyze claim details, such as policy terms, coverage limits, and deductibles, to ensure appropriate application.
Collaborate on claims in both Symbility and Xactimate to make any needed changes to the estimate.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of claim review findings, decisions, and actions taken.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
Strong computer skills including in Microsoft products such as Outlook.
Entry level positions available for those with strong work ethic and computer skill.
Proven experience in construction or estimating.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret estimates.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to estimating.
