Job description – Remote Desk Adjuster

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Property Desk Adjusters to join our growing team. Experience desired ranges from entry level to seasoned professional. As a Desk Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling claims submitted by policyholders. You will work closely with our customers to provide timely and accurate resolutions to their insurance claims.

Responsibilities:

Analyze insurance claims to determine the extent of the company's liability

Review insurance policies to determine coverage and benefits

Conduct investigations, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing police reports

Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements with claimants

Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other involved parties to gather information and provide updates on claim status

Prepare and send correspondence/letters

Keep accurate records of all claim activities and decisions

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Requirements:

High school or equivalent and above

Insurance claims adjusting experience

Entry Level - Less than two years

Mid Level - More than 2 years

Senior Level - More than 5 years

Must possess insurance adjusting license

Must possess math skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills – verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance claims software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations

Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally

Must have a quiet dedicated office space free from distractions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year depending on experience
