    Job Description

    We are looking for an IT Associate to provide support across all of the business entities. This position will primarily focus in the areas of computer operations, computer repair, user and desktop support (hardware and software), help desk and data management. Performs a variety of complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors, operates, coordinates, assists and trains others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired result. Utilizes computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of employee assistance, equipment maintenance and repair and computer operations assignments. Updates supervisor on status of projects and technical issues. Exercises judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly, and determines when to refer problems to the supervisor or the next level of support. This role will report directly to our IT Manager.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    •  Knowledge of MacOS to troubleshoot for end users is a must
    • Knowledge of a variety of hardware, software, programming languages and operating systems. Google Workspace and Zoom Admin experience is a must. Experience with JumpCloud is a plus
    • Networking/Telecommunications, Computer Science Programming or a related field
    • Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols and experience with computer applications and operating systems, hardware repairs for desktop/laptops/printers
    • Experience working in a hybrid network environment (Mac + Windows)  
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    • Ambitious drive, strong individual contributor and team player 
    • Self-starter who is able to prioritize their tasks
    • Curiosity to learn and implement new software and hardware, technologies, concepts and tools 
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a technological environment
    • Experience troubleshooting issues and achieving solutions 
    • Ability to work under pressure 
    • Full time position - on site 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • The ability to explain to a non-technical person in a way they will understand
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science preferred
