Budget Analyst, Government Affairs

Position Overview
Crossroads is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Budget Analyst, Government Affairs for one of our clients.
Basic Function of the Position:
The Budget Analyst, Government Affairs will provide budgeting, operational and administrative support for the Client Government and Legal Affairs department. Additionally, this role will provide limited administrative support to Government and Legal Affairs Senior Vice Presidents
Critical Duties and Responsibilities: (List the most critical duties and responsibilities of the position from most critical to least critical.)
-Manage Government Affairs budget and budget tracking.
-Monitor and assist Government and Legal Affairs team with budget responsibility, management, and compliance.
-Process all departmental invoices and contract, manage invoicing process.
-Work with GLA team to prepare annual budget, prepare monthly and quarterly budget forecasts
-Serve as support staff to Client Government Affairs Department.
-Handling the day-to-day administrative needs including generating correspondence, answering phone calls, scheduling hill meetings and tracking appointments, maintaining files and records.
-Coordinate Government Affairs Council (GAC) calls and in-person GAC meeting at CES
-Provide administrative support for Senior Vice President, Government and Legal Affairs and Senior Vice President, Political and Industry Affairs, including scheduling requests, travel coordination, invoice processing, records maintenance, and other related tasks.
-Maintain policy working group lists in Microsoft and Impexium
-Other duties as required by business needs.
-Must be willing to travel to Las Vegas for CES
Experience & Education:
-At least 2-3 years accounting or finance experience working on budgets and serving in administrative roles. Familiarity with legislative or regulatory processes a plus, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Strong knowledge managing budgets and budget processes.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Effective written and verbal communications skills in public speaking, presentations, and written reports.
-Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, particularly on the telephone.
-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues and tasks, and the ability to work reliably
on complex projects with tight deadlines.
