    IT Help Desk Technician 2

    This position is Fulltime, M-F, Hybrid/ remote with in-office days at our Berkeley HQ

    If you love helping people and solving problems and are great at using critical thinking skills to assist those with little technical knowledge, we have the job for you. We are seeking a qualified Help Desk Technician 2 to provide help desk support in a PC environment to our 40 stores. This position requires a high level of customer service, organization, and independence.

    Responsibilities

    o Provide support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.

    o Identify and research routine technical problems that are of medium complexity.

    o Respond to email, telephone, and ticket requests for users that are located remotely and locally.

    o Track, monitor, and document problems using department tools.

    o Coordinate with other team members and departments to resolve user issues.

    o Assist in cloning windows 10 machines.

    o Coordinate the shipping and receiving of all IT related equipment.

    o Coordinate the warranty repair for all IT equipment to and from the manufacturer, including tracking and follow up as needed.

    o Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    o Must have two to four years of experience troubleshooting hardware, applications, and systems.

    o Good working knowledge of Windows 10 or higher with at least two to four years of experience.

    o Must have a thorough knowledge of and know how to troubleshoot Microsoft Office.

    o Must be familiar with basic LAN operations.

    o Must have prior experience with remote support.

    o Must be savvy and use the internet to help answer questions and solve problems.

    o A pleasant and friendly demeanor working with non-technical users is required.

    o Must be reliable and follow tasks through to completion.

    o Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment

    o Possesses good time management skills.

    o Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

    o Willing to learn new things is a must!
