Job Summary

Crossroads Trading Co., a popular buy-sell-trade retailer with stores throughout the country, is looking for full-time and part-time Security Floor Associates! Do you have experience working in Loss Prevention and/or Security? Are you looking to work in a fast paced setting? If so, this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities

Provide a strong visual presence at the entrance/exit through courteous greeting and professional interactions with customers and others on the team

Exercise outstanding communication skills, good judgment, flexibility, integrity, and collaboration

Ensure that the customer bag-check policy is being enforced

Maintain a safe store environment by consistently monitoring the sales floor and tending to any safety hazards in a timely manner

Identify and address theft indicators and/or safety concerns; may respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations

Communicate all suspicious activity to store management and work together to find solution

Must be comfortable working in a public setting during the COVID-19 pandemic, and must be willing and able to enforce policies as they relate to the COVID-19 safety protocols

Qualifications

Previous experience in a loss prevention role

Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and law-enforcement

A calm head when dealing with safety issues, including dealing with suspects who engage in aggressive behavior

Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on the company apprehensions guidelines

Ability to identify internal and external theft red flags

Must be able to stand / walk sales floor for several hours at a time

Guard Card preferred
