    Job SummaryFillmore & 5th, a consignment boutique specializing in highly desirable designer and luxury brands, is looking for a Store Manager at its store in Palo Alto! Do you LOVE designer fashion and want to work in a fun and fashionable boutique setting? If you have a background in retail management, are fashion obsessed, and love the idea of running your own store, while being supported by a great company, working at Fillmore & 5th may be your dream job!

    Fillmore & 5th is the sister store to Crossroads Trading, a popular buy-sell-trade retailer with stores throughout the country.

    Responsibilities

    Handle all day-to-day store operations

    Hire, train, and develop a positive, fashion-focused staff

    Create aesthetically appealing environment that welcomes all customers

    Curate store merchandise

    Work to achieve store financial goals

    Supervise Buyer Training Program

    Manage opening and closing procedure

    Oversee all financial tasks, including payroll, banking and reconciling cash

    Create employee schedules

    Apply company policies and procedure

    Conduct staff evaluation

    Ensure loss prevention

    Attend manager meetings

    Lead staff meetings

    Qualifications

    Needs:

    2+ years as lead manager of a fashion retail store

    Extraordinary people and customer service skills

    A love and thorough understanding of fashion, designers, labels and trends

    Experience hiring and managing staff in a fast-paced, busy environment

    A proven track record of professionalism and career-growth

    The desire to work for an eco-conscious green company

    Experience managing a team of 15+ employees, including staff development

    Wants:

    Luxury/Designer retail experience

    Fashion degree and/or certificate

    Ability to authenticate merchandise

    Similar industry experience (buy-sell-trade- and/or consignment experience a HUGE PLUS)
