LOCATION San Francisco, CA_ During the current public health situation, this job is expected to start remotely. However, once our offices reopen, this position is ideally located in our San Francisco office._

JOB DESCRIPTION As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be building the tools and web applications for managing large-scale deep learning, particularly our end-to-end deep learning platform. Your day to day responsibilities will be varied and changing frequently, including:

• Extending and maintaining our webapp, collaborating on design and product to advance our platform.
• Developing and enforcing best practices for a high quality, maintainable codebase
• Contributing to our rich React and Rails application

REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
2. At least 2 years of experience as part of an engineering team, ideally including working for small startups
3. Some experience with the latest web standards, especially building applications with React, Redux, JSX/HTML, and Sass/CSS

BONUS POINTS

1. Experience building and designing a user-facing product
2. Experience with Rails or similar web backend framework
3. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
4. Experience with continuous integration
