    Job Description

    The Project Assistant will work proactively and collaboratively with the Project Management Office (PMO) on specific short- and long-term projects. The Project Assistant (PA) is responsible for tasks delegated by the project manager, coordinating with all necessary team members and vendors, and working with the team to ensure projects move forward as scheduled. The person filling this role must be organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them on task in a positive and encouraging manner is also a valuable skill in this position.

    ** WHAT YOU'LL DO:**

    • To effectively support the PMO in the day-to-day aspects of assigned projects and their scope.
    • Distribute surveys as requested on behalf of the organization.
    • Develop training material as requested on behalf of the organization.
    • Provide additional support as requested by supervisor or PMO.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project management software and tools.
    • Maintain ongoing and open communication with supervisor.
    • Adhere to Dungarvin’s national personnel policies
    • Act as a role model for the organization’s values, mission, and philosophy.
    • Promote a positive, supportive attitude toward persons supported, personnel, parents, various departments and work teams throughout the organization, and outside agencies
  • Qualifications

    ** WHAT WE LOOK FOR:**

    • 3-5 years relevant work experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, required
    • Experience using creative design, project management, training and survey development software applications, preferred

    • Must be self-motivated and able to maintain productivity while working remotely
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information and ideas both verbally and in writing; good active listening skills
