    About this Position

    Crowley is seeking an LNG Utility for the Tug Vanguard/Barge Progress supporting our Savannah, GA LNG operations. This is a permanent position with a 14 day even time on/off rotation with a daily wage of $634.20/day. Mariners will be responsible for their own travel to and from the vessel, so this is a great opportunity if you are looking for a short sailing rotation close to home.

    This position does require the candidate to join the Seafarers International Union (SIU) as a condition of employment. All benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and pension will be provided through the union. Click here to learn more about SIU’s benefit offerings.

    Desired Experience and Credentials

    International Capacities and Limitations Minimum Qualifications:

    · Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD)

    · Advanced LNG Cargo Operations

    International Capacities and Limitations Preferred Qualifications:

    · Basic Training

    · Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch (RFPEW)

    Domestic Capacities and Limitations Minimum Qualifications:

    · Lifeboatman

    · OS/Wiper/Steward

    Domestic Capacities and Limitations Preferred Qualifications:

    · Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) – any rating

    Other Required Credentials:

    · TWIC

    · USCG Medical Certificate STCW expiration date must be currently valid.

    · Must be current on medical and training requirements.
