OPERATIONS MANAGER
· Actively lead and support a positive, proactive, results oriented work culture.
· Actively participate in strategic development and pursuit of clients and projects.
· Review pricing and job selection policies for bid and negotiated work.
· Maintain and active role with the Sr Estimator to maintain the estimating OST database.
· Maintain an awareness of the Company’s image among customers by taking action to correct problems uncovered.
· Where necessary, participate in the bidding and negotiating process to help ensure the procurement of a contract.
· Select, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel. Provide for or coordinate staff training and professional development; counsel with employees to correct deficiencies in performance; conduct disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
· Ensure the budget is achieved.
· Provide guidance and oversight in preparation of project understandings, schedules, budgets, and negotiations
· Conform to all company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must have:
experience of 5 years in Business Management, Project Management or Estimating of commercial drywall.
Proven success in the areas of strategic planning, business development, and strategic partnering.
