    In this position you will need to have amazing sales skills and perform at a high and fast paced level. You will need to LOVE talking to people all day and have the drive, desire and persistence to close deals. Most sales aren’t “laydown deals” and will generally require many touch points over long periods of time, as sellers are generally slow to make decisions to sell at a discount. You’re the leader of your own acquisitions process so the expectations will be; • Identifying and evaluating potential deals, negotiating the deals and getting purchase contracts signed. • Leads are provided, but to maximize your commissions, you will also be responsible for generating leads. • Manage and prioritize leads, ensuring that opportunities are pursued in a timely and effective manner. • Financially analyze your deals through due diligence, market research, property inspections and risk assessments. • Scheduling and attending appointments with potential sellers, brokers or stakeholders. • Networking with industry professionals and organizations to build relationships and stay up to date on market trends and opportunities. • Gather testimonials from past sellers and partners to build credibility and generate new leads. Responsibilities: What will you do? These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed: • Prospect for seller leads, convert leads to appointments, make offers to purchase, and write up contracts to purchase • Provide high-level advice on pricing strategies and staging homes for sale to the Dispositions team • Build relationships throughout the market that could lead to future acquisition opportunities • Responsible for identifying, contacting, and obtaining appointments with homeowners, as well as maintaining consistent lead follow-up until the prospect is ready to sell or decides not to sell • Effectively negotiate with sellers • Consult with sellers to ensure effective handling of the real estate transaction from initial contact through contract to close Qualifications: • Must have at least 3 years of sales experience to be considered for this position • Must have at least 1 year of real estate acquisition experience • Excellent people skills • Excellent sales and negotiation skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities • Calm under pressure • Computer skills Compensation: $100,000 - $180,000 yearly
