THE OPPORTUNITY
The Social Media Specialist/Manager will own social media and audience development for a publicly traded clean tech startup that is substantially impacting sustainability. You will manage existing social channels while developing new ones as the company and its corresponding audiences grow. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from a world class marketing team with dynamic backgrounds in tech and sustainability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Manage and create content for existing social media channels including LinkedIn and Twitter, while developing Crown’s presence on relevant new social media platforms
· Act as channel owner for all social media accounts, including implementation of best practices, discerning the appropriate content, and adapting material for each individual platform
· Build a robust following while maintaining brand integrity and being Crown’s “voice” to customers, talent, investors, strategic partners, media, and policymakers within the social space
· Active social listening: keeping a pulse on industry trends, events, and conversation, and reporting back to the entire company
· Work closely with the marketing team, especially our Editorial Director and Creative Lead, to collaborate and time social media activity with ongoing PR, video, and written content campaigns
· Help build content calendars and scheduling/publishing
Qualifications
· 2-4 years of experience managing social media with a track record of growth
· Self-motivated and tenacious with an innate desire for results
· Passion for tech that can improve the world, and developing social media that helps to educate and inspire
· High standard of excellence and integrity
· Commitment to continuous learning/improvement
