Responsibilities: • Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials • Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees • Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit Qualifications: • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role
