    The Crowne Plaza Englewood has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Catering Sales Manager. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for the solicitation of new accounts while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing accounts. Responsibilities: • Solicitation of new and existing business should be through a combination of outside sales calls, appointments, telemarketing, social media, site tours, constant prospecting, and networking • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients • Develop client menus, write contracts and letters, as well as organize all other arrangements as they relate to social and corporate events • Supervise and attend the overall setup and implementation of events and meetings • Communicate with relevant departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts • Attends and facilitates weekly BEO meetings with Food and Beverage staff • The Sales Catering Manager meets or exceeds established monthly, quarterly, annual targeted revenue and monthly solicitation goals • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, food and beverage, preparation of business plans, and sales management • Use customer relationship management software to track leads, sales activities, and client information • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies Qualifications: • Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards • Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing and provide overall guest satisfaction • Effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy • Presents a professional appearance
