We require a supervisor who is capable of overseeing the entire kitchen and ensuring food safety laws are followed, as well as being successful at implementing new menu items and recipes. Responsibilities: • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way • Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment • Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
