Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Qualifications: • Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Experience with mixology and building new recipes and techniques • TN ABC License Required Compensation: $8 - $8.5 hourly
