Responsibilities: Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing a team Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
