    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Web Marketing Administrator reporting to the Direct Marketing Ops Manager and Assistant Manager, part of Jesus Film Project Donor Relations Department. Responsible for the creation and production of mass email communications, web initiatives/strategies, webpages, and social media to encourage ministry partners and cultivate new web donors and friends of the Jesus Film Project.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

    • Responsible for executing all aspects of email and web marketing campaigns and strategies, reporting directly to Assistant Manager Direct Mail Operations.
      • Work with vendors and web marketing team to initiate, plan, edit, design, and populate web pages and launch email campaigns, choosing photos/content and all aspects of the campaign.
      • Write some of the Email blasts as well as coordinate with vendors to write the rest. Ensuring that the web marketing team and other required approvers have sufficient input in the copy.
      • Plan/design gift tracking procedures to ensure accurate allocating and reporting.
      • Prepare/design and submit analytics reports for E-campaigns and online development activity including stats on donations, click-thrus, unsubscribes, forwarding activity, etc.
    • Back up Direct Marketing Ops Assistant Manager when needed: get required copy approvals, edit/approve artwork proofs, and notify staff of mail drop.
    • Work with vendors and senior management, make decisions that impact the reputation of the ministry and security of staff.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to constituents and prospects via email inquiries and phone calls. Respond to requests/fulfillment needs resulting from special online promotions.
    • Monitor and report on donations from the website. Notify Direct Marketing Management team and Gift Allocation Coordinator of special allocations.
    • Research and maintains database list for the Direct Marketing Email Program.
      • Research donor data and update systems as needed (Cru Donor system, Email delivery system) and make other data entry e-changes.
      • Perform list maintenance consistently, keeping email lists accurate.
    • Provide administrative oversight of Jesus Film Project development web presence. Ensure information is accurate. Update content regularly, keeping a fresh look.
    • Seek to help facilitate optimum, open communications between the various Jesus Film Project departments, its donors, its vendors and the public. This can be achieved through clear, concise and timely exchange of information.
    • Participate in prayer with the Direct Marketing team for donors and for all current and future plans and projects.

    OTHER FUNCTIONS (NON-ESSENTIAL)

    • Perform related duties or special projects as assigned.
    • Participate in the annual Christmas Calling Campaign and make at least the minimum number of required calls to Jesus Film Project donors.

    KNOWLEDGE OF:

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, requires thorough knowledge of the English language and grammatical rules/usage.

    · Basic office processes and procedures.

    · Basic fundraising process and procedures.

    · Jesus Film Project and its mission.

    · Intermediate to Advanced computer operations/skills and standard software such as Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

    · Internet savvy. Knowledge of html. Understands web development tools and strategies.

    · Intermediate to advanced understanding of Internet marketing concepts and processes.

    · Print media production preferred.

    · Project management and analysis preferred.

    · Dreamweaver and Adobe Suite preferred.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience in Customer Service and working one-on-one with people. (Good People Skills)

    • Web marketing, html, and design experience needed.

    • Some college training with one to three years of experience in fundraising and development preferably for a Christian ministry preferred.

    • Additional demonstrated excellence in fundraising can be substituted for college training.
