Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative is a stable, strong, growing company in the leisure travel business. As we expand, new opportunities arise. Currently we are looking to grow our team of Business Development Specialists to help make an excellent company even better. These Specialists will support all of our franchisees by helping them develop their knowledge of the tools available, providing training and assistance that will show them how to grow their business and coaching them to be successful.
Responsibilities:
- Coach respective agents on new tools and strategies including EConnect, My Trips, Value Tracker, Mobile App, Edeals and opt ins.
- Ensure regions have latest promotional offers, CP Vacation Packages and other information that will assist in growing the business
- Provide quarterly webinar series aimed at training agents on tools available to help build their business.
- Assist with updating training documents and ESource material to ensure the accuracy of the content.
- Based on franchise business needs, recommend a marketing plan that will help their business grow and align with Cruise Planners HO goals. Discuss marketing opportunities available such as Full Sails, CP Magazine, FB page, ECard Scheduler, etc.
- Assist agent in developing group business or building upon the agent’s client data base to generate revenue opportunities.
- Work with marketing team and use marketing calendar to ensure franchisee is aware of upcoming marketing opportunities including direct mail pieces, vendor tool kits and exclusive sales.
- Direct star levels to CP Pod so they can market themselves to new clients or existing clients with supplier promotions.
- Answer incoming calls and email inquiries providing assistance as needed.
Competencies:
- Must be able to manage territory, build relationships within region and motivate others to achieve sales goals
- Must have excellent verbal communication, customer service skills, problem solving ability, marketing knowledge, listening skills and ability to multi-task
- Must have good presentation skills to conduct webinars and training
- Must be well organized
- Knowledge of social media and email programs (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Analytical skills necessary for interpreting data and setting goals relevant to the data
- Travel Industry experience required
- Bi-Lingual preferred
