You’re an All-Star:
We are looking for a high energy, passionate, fitness oriented, results driven and fanatically customer service minded All-Stars to join our staff. This position will play a critical role in the gym from member services, marketing and operations. Looking for energetic candidates with open availability seven days a week including holidays.
Job Responsibility:
Enthusiastically greet members when they enter and leave the gym
Register guests and lead club tours for prospective members
Provide assistance to members along with handling inquiries about club operations and policies
Enrolling new members and achieving enrollment objectives on a consistent basis
Properly record and document issues for staff and management regarding member issues, equipment maintenance, phone calls, incidents and general operations
Handle phone calls with professionalism, and be able to follow scripts for various inquiries
Build relationships and excitement for special events to increase participation
Understanding of basic cash processing procedures is required
Maintain a fun, positive and welcome atmosphere
Follow directions from management to deliver results and accountability
Perform club walks and duties to maintain a clean club at all times, and resolve or document any issues
Monitor check-ins closely to resolve outstanding issues on member accounts
Process retail payment transactions for beverages, tanning and other items
Treat every member or guest in a special manner that makes them excited to return
Generate leads/new business through member promotions, leads, referrals, and guest passes
Attend local events, handout flyers and occasionally prospects to set appointments
Help create local business relationships to cross promote the business
Maintain a professional presence and adhere to club policies at all times
Re-rack weights and accessories as needed to maintain an orderly facility
Know club facility, services, and schedules
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
Achieve daily, weekly and monthly production goals
Implement and support company programs and promotions to help generate new sales leads
Opening and closing duties with flexibility to work hours from 5am to 11pm including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills:
Communicate professionally through oral, written and telephone communication
Outstanding customer service, sense of urgency to resolve issues & comfortable in high customer traffic situations
Ability to use a computer, database, spreadsheet and member management system
Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire while on duty.
Punctual, reliable and showing up on time consistently
Able to work with minimal supervision and always exhibit a ‘Will do’ mentality
Must be able to lift 45 lbs and move heavy objects using proper form
Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US to apply.
