Assistant Manager
Job Description:
The Crunch Sales Supervisor will ensure the members receive the highest quality of service and facilities. He or she will exhibit an ability to achieve the financial targets for the club by motivating, leading, supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in servicing our member needs. He/She will demonstrate an aptitude and command of all company wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand.

Requirements:
Some college degree preferred
2 years management/sales experience required
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required

Responsibilities:
Administration/Organization
Demonstrate a working knowledge of sales and service standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club.
Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.
Encourage staff to work as a team and be productive.
Illustrate an ability to make decisions.
Sales/Revenue Management
Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and manage team.
Achieve desired sales goals.
Achieve desired sales goals thru the leadership and motivation of employees.
Implement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum new membership growth.
Ensure that Team maintains proper tracking forms and the daily leads.
Ensure that all promotions are effectively communicated to the team and all other appropriate staff.
Ensure ongoing prospecting and generation of new prospective members.
Review sales-related written communication such as proposal, letters and promotional pieces for effectiveness, spelling, accuracy and distribution
Ensure that the staff has a high level of knowledge about the clubs programs, facilities and equipment.
Emphasize importance of staff involvement in the community and neighborhood businesses.
Leadership/Motivation
Serve as a role model for employees.
Communicate effectively by holding weekly and individual meeting with all key club personnel.
Provide an inspirational environment that welcomes honest feed back from employees and takes action to ensure a quality, working environment.

Other Responsibilities
Membership Sales
Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
Check in members and guests in accordance with company procedures
Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
Communicate special events to members and guests
Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
Maintain professional disposition at all times
Sell retail products
Schedule member services: tanning, etc
Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
Know club facility, services, and schedules
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
Opening and closing duties
Monitor flagged check-in’s to increase revenue and collections.
Demonstrate an ability to increase revenue per member.
