    Job Description:

    Area Fitness Manager’s (AFM) are responsible for driving the fitness departments in a minimum of 2 clubs/locations up to 5 clubs/locations. First and foremost, Area Fitness Manager’s will ensure all members receive the highest quality Service and overall Experience in the Fitness Industry. AFM’s need to demonstrate a competitive mindset through achievement of financial targets for the clubs as outlined in the annual budget and monthly scorecard. The AFM will ensure the highest level of One on One, Small Group, and Large Group personal training. Building a team that is second to none in the industry.

    As AFMs, PTL, & Personal Trainers we are committed to the following: Our Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs to our members while educating and guiding them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle. Clients sign up with a personal trainer to be motivated, educated, and held accountable while working towards their fitness goals. By definition, a personal trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise. They provide fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals.

    Requirements:

    4-year college degree preferred

    Fitness management experience preferred.

    3 years of sales experience with proven results.

    Current CPR/AED Certification and basic First Aid knowledge.

    Currently Nationally Certified in one of the following:

    o NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, NFPT, ISSA

    o Others will be considered on a case by case basis.

    Responsibilities:

    Effectively and efficiently promote our proprietary fitness platform to all members, guests, and staff.

    Works with AM, FDL, & the Front Desk department to ensure proper & efficient POS PT sales performance from the FD team. Assists in coaching & developing the FD team to be efficient at booking Crunch Orientations.

    Hire/train a highly effective team promoting great fitness programing, customer service, and achieve monthly production goals.

    Punctual and prepared for all appointments with staff meetings.

    Servant leadership abilities through motivation, support, and education.

    Development and education provided to staff, clients and guests.

    Desire to support clients reach their health and fitness goals through proper techniques and resources.

    Promotes marketing of DotFit supplement sales to clients and members

    Can conduct Crunch Orientations according to company protocol and trains team how to do the same.

    Educates members and team on current health and fitness issues and trends

    Exceptional member service engagement and possesses outstanding communication skills

    Experience in designing exercise programs tailored to the needs of specific client goals and has the experience needed to teach other trainers to do the same.

    Maintains personal integrity, personal health and fitness.

    Promotes, sells personal training programs, and services and assists/develops staff in doing so.

    Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.

    Ensures the personal training department reaches all sales goals including: supplements, PIF & EFT personal training, small group training.

    Schedules team members appropriately for floor hours and Camp Crunch Orientations; assisting in closing the sales.

    Monitors payroll expenditure and ensures proper usage of it.

    Schedules weekly and monthly team meetings.

    Will exemplify team player actions that will help throughout the whole gym experience including, but not limited to, club cleanliness and assisting with customer questions and concerns. Sales tours and Membership sales.

    Clearly understands company philosophy & core values.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting & prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
