    JOB SUMMARY:As a Crunch Personal Trainer, your role is to deliver consistent, genuinely caring, and inspiring service superior to our competition. Personal Trainers primary duty is to service PT client sessions, helping each client reach their fitness goals. Ultimately a Crunch trainer delivers on the SIR Fitness Mission of to “Take such great care of every member and guest we interact with today, that they come back again tomorrow...one day closer to their fitness goals”.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:• Direct report: Personal Training Manager• Secondary report: Assistant Personal Training Manager, General ManagerSchedule:• Each Crunch Personal Trainer is required to have at least 20 hours per week of open availability. The ultimate goal is to fill your schedule with paid client session and minimize empty time slots. Trainer session pay levels correspond directly to the number of sessions serviced within a month. Trainer levels are as followed:o Level 1 – Service less than 80 session hours per montho Level 2 – Service 80 or more and less than 120 session hours per montho Level 3 – Service 120 or more session per month• After the first 90 days of employment a trainer must service a minimum of 25 session hours per pay period.RESPONSIBLE FOR:As a Crunch Personal Trainer, you are expected to deliver 5-Star service. This includes (but not limited to):SERVICE AND TRAIN CLIENTS [70% OF TIME]• Professional Trainero Punctualo Showered, groomed and dressed per Crunch dress codeo Organized with client workout prepared prior to sessiono Places a professional relationship above a personal relationship with clients• 5-Star Serviceo Client are welcomed at the front desk and greeted by nameo Towel/water is handed to client upon greetingo Quick summary of that day’s sessiono Manage the time (start on time, end on time)o Water and towel handed to client during rest timeso Sessions are client-focusedo Encourage and inspire cliento Track progress and measure results towards fitness goals• Scienceo Safety above all elseo Sessions programing follows regional guidelines and/or approved by PTMo Proper progression and regression of exerciseso Maintain current CPT and AED/CPR certificationo Accurate measurements including weight, circumference, BMI machine and skin calipers.

    SERVICE MEMBERS [20% OF TIME]• Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.• Assist, at the club management’s request, in any member service activities (e.g., fitness seminars, front desk time, booking and servicing Kickoffs, boot camps, body fat tables, supplement/nutritional product demos etc.).• Help with racking weights and assisting in maintaining a neat, organized and clean club.

    ADMINISTRATION/MISC. [10% OF TIME]• Use My PT Hub to record and track all workouts• Accurately and effectively manage your calendar using ABC / Data Trak• Have all clients use their PIN number of fingerprint scanner to securely check-in for each session• Attend scheduled training (Trainer Business Plan, 1-on-1, Evaluations etc.) with the PTM. • Attend monthly team meeting. • Execute other duties as assigned.EDUCATION LEVEL:• High School Diploma or GED required• Bachelor’s Degree preferred• CPR/ AED certified• EXPERIENCE: Personal Training experience preferred but not required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends & holidays as needed to support the business.
