  • Responsibilities

    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Crusher Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our operations, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, including crushers, loaders, dozers and excavators to ensure safe and efficient production.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operator heavy equipment such as crushers, loaders, dozers and excavators safely and efficiently.
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment to minimize downtime.
    • Operator and maintain crushing equipment, including Kleeman jaw, cone, impact crushers, screens, gen sets, conveyors and stackers.
    • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
    • Follow established protocols and safety procedures, including incident reporting.
    • Communicate plant site issues with foremen and management during daily inspections.
    • Assist with plant maintenance and repair, including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
    • Coordinate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications amp; Skills:

    • Demonstrated commitment to a personal and passionate safety culture.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in aggregate or mining operations, with knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment.
    • Previous mining or production experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
    • Loader and crusher operation experience preferred.
    • Welding, fabrication and repair experience is preferred.
    • Mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, variable weather environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
    • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; CDL Class A required.
    • Willingness to travel to various locations in Southern Minnesota.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
    • Tolerance for working in dirty, dusty and variable weather conditions.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
    • Understanding key preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
    • Knowledge of laws, policies, and regulations affecting mining operations.
    • Ability to implement workplace changes efficiently using available resources.
