We are currently expanding our cryptographic capabilities and looking for a forward-thinking engineer to help us shape the frontier of secure communications and post-quantum resilience.
The Role
We are seeking a Cryptography Consultant to play a dual role: leading the development of novel encryption technologies—particularly in the post-quantum space—and evaluating the technical potential of early-stage cryptographic ventures for investment. This position offers a rare opportunity to contribute hands-on to advanced security architecture while helping steer strategic capital toward transformative innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge cryptographic protocols with a focus on post-quantum resilience.
Collaborate with internal teams and research partners to prototype and test novel encryption systems.
Conduct deep technical due diligence on start-ups and emerging ventures in cryptography and information security.
Advise our investment team on technology readiness, cryptographic soundness, and long-term viability.
Stay current with academic and industry developments in cryptography, PQC standards, and attack models.
Requirements
Preferred - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in a related field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Cryptography.
Strong experience in applied cryptography and protocol design.
Demonstrated knowledge of post-quantum cryptographic schemes and NIST standardization efforts.
Experience with code-based, lattice-based, or multivariate cryptosystems is a strong plus.
Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Previous exposure to technical due diligence or research in venture/start-up environments is a plus.
