    ENTERPRISE AE'S (4) - CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE (CX) SOFTWARE - 27422700

    Our client is a Forrester Wave Leader in all five Social categories in addition to Content Marketing Platform, the only company placed as a leader in all point solution categories and full platform meaning you get both best-of-breed AND the best platform! Gartner also names them as a Leader in Content Marketing Platform and awarded them the best Social Marketing Management software of 2020.

    Backed by a new $200M round of funding and nearly $3B valuation they will soon surpass 2000 employees in 15 countries while supporting more than 75% of Forbes' top 100 most valuable brands. Their continued growth has led to expansion roles in NorCal for talented Enterprise Account Executives to own a portfolio of 10-20 $1B NorCal-based clients and prospects.

    The ideal profile will be an Enterprise AE veteran who has been consistently top 20% of their SaaS sales team for the past 5-10 years in addition to 10 years. Typical comp is 150/300 with 75% of Q1 commission guaranteed plus equity. Their industry-leading comp plan includes double accelerators that led two reps in West to $1M+ W2's last year.

    Must live in NorCal between Santa Barbara and Sacramento with ideal location in Bay Area or Silicon Valley

     

    POSITION DETAILS:

    Expansion role for a NorCal Account Executive to lead a lead a portfolio of 10-20 $1B accounts based in the region. An Enterprise seller that has a nice mix of large company and startup experience with a proven track record of driving big deals in a complex SaaS environment while demonstrating loyalty to their organization (no job jumping).

     

    This AE will inherit 6-7 current customers (two major anchors and 4-5 smaller accounts with existing opportunity) plus several big anchor prospects and additional net new logo opportunities. Drive current deals while introducing the platform to new prospects! Typically you can expect 2/3 of gross new bookings to be pulled from current customers with the other 1/3 via new logo acquisition.

     

    This is a well-segmented territory so you will come in knowing where the best opportunities reside among their portfolio and inherit current revenue-generating business.

     

    TECHNOLOGY (SAAS):

    You will have been selling business applications in the front office to $1B enterprises with platforms like CRM, marketing cloud, call center, social, HR, finance, sales enablement, customer experience, CPQ, business process optimization in a complex enterprise SaaS sales environment with deal sizes $200k-$1M+.

    Modern call center technology is very interesting as are AI/ML front office apps and other digital transformation or CRM/MarTech or even AdTech platforms.

    NORCAL REGIONAL SPECIFICS:

    NorCal is the #1 district in the world which is the catalyst for expansion. They've been #1 past two fiscal years and again #1 through first 3 quarters of 2020. Fiscal year ends Jan 31, 2021 so must be able to join no later than Feb 2021

     

    IDEAL PROFILE:

    • Tried and true Enterprise AE (7+ years) selling at the VP and C-levels.
    • Selling front office software solutions to $1B Enterprise portfolio doing complex $200K-$1M+ deals with a focus on outcome-driven, value-based selling.
    • Prefer nice career mix of large company and startup/mature pre-IPO where candidate has been exposed to a nice array of sales methodologies and support both employing well-defined processes and creating your own.
    • MEDDIC and/or Force Management is a deciding plus.
    • Must employ outcome-driven value-based selling and thrive in a metric-driven sales process with transparent funnel.

    BASE SALARY: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 (DOE)

    TOTAL COMPENSATION: $280,000.00 - $320,000.00 OTE, + 1st quarter non-recoverable draw of 75% of OTE + Equity

     

    LOCATIONS: Office in downtown SF is currently closed so this is remote from NorCal home based opportunity.
