    POSITION TITLE: Software Integration Activation Specialist - Medical

    DEPARTMENT: Professional Services

    REPORTS TO: Medical Operations Manager

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

    The Software Integration Activation Specialist is responsible for the activation of Cubex Patient, Profile, Billing and Vendor software integrations in Cubex medical markets. Prior to onsite implementation of our software/hardware solutions, the specialist works with the pharmacy/medical client's practice management software specialists setting up and configuring the integration(s), as well as working with facilities after integration “go-live”. This will include validating the data's send and receive processes/functions are performing to spec. The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading teleconference/webinar meetings discussing the functionality of the integrations, and knowledge of IT infrastructure and technology. The candidate will also need extensive experience with managing multiple projects, databases, API's, web services and HL7 Translators at one time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Integration Activation – owning the integration activation process from start to finish:
    • Presenting the client with a demonstration of how the various integrations interact with their practice management software program
    • Assessing the client's system integrity to meet technical requirements for activation
    • Assisting with configuration of the integration software suite of the practice management software, vendor order procurement software and related practice management systems
    • Training the client on information flows and management thereof
    • Participate in Customer calls, project management, and on-boarding of integrations in the medical market
    • Stand-up weekly meeting to review projects and workload

    SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

    • Understand HL7 standards, have working knowledge of and experience with interface engines
    • Ability to test, debug, modify, tune and document HL7 messages as needed
    • Have working knowledge of webservices/APIs
    • Determine the HL7 interface customizations required for each project
    • Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
    • Skill at tracking tasks, defining next steps, and identifying owners
    • Project Management experience desired
    • Experience with IT infrastructure and technology
    • Experience with different Pharmacy & Medical software, e.g. Framework, QS1, Prodigy, etc. and specialized or custom software, e.g. AS400, TCGRx, Medipax, etc. is a plus
    • Comfortable on the phone demonstrating functionality and configuration of integrations

    EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS DESIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and/or 1-3 years of experience in a production environment
    • Minimum of 1-3 years working with Integrations with EMR/EHR and or Webservice platforms
    • Candidate must possess Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to document and explain schema elements, overall architecture, and system-approach to both management and engineering staff
