Pastry Chef

Day in the life:
- Product within the assigned department is produced according to recipe specifications
- Shifts are set up according to appropriate checklists
- Pastry staff has the appropriate tools and supplies for each shift
- Conduct and document product quality reviews every shift
- Drive company standards, including uniform, grooming, and timeliness of the staff each shift
- Train and coach pastry staff within the assigned department to focus on recipe adherence
- Manage safety & cleanliness standards each shift
We would love you to have:
- At least (3) years of experience required in a similar position, ideally in a high-production, luxury concepts
- Eager to support the company in any way he/she can
- Knowledgeable and well-versed in European-style pastries, bread, confections, and chocolate work
- Required to work independently and as part of a team, and effectively manage your and your direct reports’ time
- Required to exhibit a helpful, supportive communication style and be collaborative within a structured job environment
- -Proficient knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
