    New Store Opening Manager

    Position Summary:

    The Opening Manager is responsible for planning and executing activities of New Store Openings. Including hiring, training, F & E, and overall supervision of opening projects. This position will also create the blueprint for all future restaurant openings.

    Essential Functions include but may not be limited to:

    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of new restaurant staffing needs
    • Assist in interviewing, selecting, and training new hires
    • Provides directions and prioritizes objectives
    • Liaise with the President to make opening decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
    • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements as needed
    • Continuous communication with Accounting & HR Dept to assist with inventory levels, cost, and staffing
    • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
    • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas; compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
    • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents; complete accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured.
    • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
    • Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews.
    • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics

    Experience:

    •  Minimum 5 years of experience in managing high volume restaurant operations with a focus on training and development 
    •  Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up.
    • Polished and professional 
    • A high-energy leader with a solid track record of leading and growing an operations organization in the restaurant industry
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication proficiency, both written and verbal.
