  • Responsibilities

    The Financial Analysis Manager is responsible for compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and translating fiscal data into actionable information to drive operational and business decisions by our executive and leadership teams. The Financial Analysis Manager will contribute to building and framing the company's performance metrics and budgets and will work closely with operators to improve food, labor, and other overhead costs.     

    A day in the life:

    • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and distributing monthly Dashboard Reporting
    • Refines company-wide and division-level KPI’s, and works with department managers to define KPI’s and optimize reporting to align with company goals and objectives
    • Reports on Weekly/Monthly P&L “flash” to operators and leadership
    • Recurring reporting/analysis as needed for Board Decks (monthly and quarterly), including ad hoc reports
    • Assist Controller with cashflow planning and bank covenant analysis
    • Assist Director of FP&A with:
      • Maintaining, analyzing, and recommending changes to the Restaurant Labor matrix, and weekly labor variances/outliers. Work with Operations to optimize scheduling and secure budgeted increases in productivity
      • Analyzing food cost variances, usage impacts, commodity cost increases, and making recommendations to Sr. Management of savings opportunities
      • Weekly reporting to senior management on restaurants performance (Sales, Labor, Food Cost, Guest Surveys, other performance indicators as needed), remodel performance, new store performance
    • Manage annual budget upload and data integrity testing,
    • Ad hoc analyses on various operations and marketing initiatives

    We would love you to have:

    • BA preferred, Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required
    • 4+ years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in restaurant, hospitality, or retail preferred
    • Experience with SSAS, Hyperion Essbase, or similar excel analytical tools or add-ins
    • Experience generating and writing budgets at a store level for a large organization
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills, especially to convey technical concepts to non-technical teams
    • Strong PC Skills
