    We are looking for a New Restaurant Opening Manager who will manage and execute new restaurant openings. The NRO Manager will have a keen eye for the details and a passion for training and development. They will work closely with Real Estate, Marketing, Operations, and HR teams to successfully take a restaurant from construction to opening day.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead and leverage NRO coordinator, trainers, and home office resources as needed to ensure successful and efficient new store openings
    • Strategic planning for all aspects of New Store Opening: including but not limited to service experience, brand experience / standard implementation, learning and development, talent acquisition and leadership training, set up and training of day-to-day operations
    • Partner with all departments to continually refine the opening tool kit
    • The bridge between Real Estate and Operations: Support Business Development and Real Estate as needed from initial acquisition of space through 60 days turn over to store GM with operations
    •  Coordinate all opening support for openings, refreshes, or store re-training as needed
    • Work with Real Estate to develop a pre-opening operations timeline for each new location and assign appropriate resources. Lead all weekly drumbeat calls, assign, and follow up on tasks with all partners/stakeholders
    •  Partner with HR, Legal, Operations, and field to develop training materials for use in all locations - both for pre-opening and ongoing store operating Essential Skills and Experience:
    •  8+ years in the food industry, design, restaurant opening, business development, and/or strategy role(s)
    •  BA or commensurate restaurant experience
    •  Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
    •  A strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence multiple decision-makers
    • A strong foundational understanding of restaurant openings, current technology used within the organization, and day to day operations
    • Ability to develop, curate, and deliver operational training
    •  Partner with Marketing / Experience to deliver on brand promise and vision in all new store openings and training
    •  Demonstrated experience working closely with leadership Qualifications:
    •  Expert in foodservice with experience in operations, financial analysis, guest and vendor communication, marketing, and strategic design.
    • Ability to communicate and influence change and new programs to VPs, Operations, and Employees
    •  Able to use the analytical disciplined approach as well as dynamic and abstract problem-solving skills
    •  Experience working with a team and collaborating with various stakeholders
    •  Must be capable of working independently and taking initiative on projects
    •  Must have a 'change agent' attitude; constantly pushing us to new opportunities, and must lead and manage the change curve with cross-functional support throughout the organization
