CATERING SALES MANAGER
ORANGE, CA
Responsible for all aspects of the catering sales process including maintaining, building and coordinating the development of group/special events for new and existing guests or clients.
DUTIES:
- Increases event and catering sales revenue by executing outbound sales call requirements to drive awareness, implementing lead generating strategies; identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring restaurant or club and community demographics
- Manages event administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to any contracts and confirmed agreements.
- Maintains a close working relationship with each event host to include, meeting and greeting the event organizer, following up with the event hosts to ensure satisfaction and maximize referrals.
- Weekly sales reporting and forecasting for management
- Attends industry related events to generate new business and keep current with trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Restaurant/Business Management or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an Event Sales position.
- Strong book of contacts.
- Friendly, outgoing and possess excellent communications skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends.
