Position Summary
We’re seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) with the required experience in institutional foodservice or healthcare culinary operations to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Menu & Recipe Management
• Lead seasonal menu updates (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter) • Customize recipes based on diets, preferences, and compliance requirements • Ensure all menus meet CMS and state regulations
Foodservice Data Entry & Platform Management
• Input and manage nutrition data including allergens, prep methods, and yields • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy • Conduct regular audits on nutritional and ingredient databases
Inventory & Procurement System Setup
• Build client-specific inventory systems • Align vendor catalogs (US Foods, Sysco, Premier) with DMO systems • Assist in streamlining purchasing workflows
Client Training & Culinary Support
• Train dietary and kitchen staff on system functionality • Troubleshoot menu or inventory issues with clients • Provide culinary expertise to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
Required:
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification • 3+ years of experience in healthcare foodservice, dietary operations, or culinary management • Strong knowledge of menu planning, recipe standardization, and inventory systems • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or foodservice platforms • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with meal management software platforms (e.g., DMO, CBORD, Vision, MealSuite) • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and dietary compliance standards • Familiarity with procurement platforms and vendor integrations • Culinary degree a plus
