About the Role:

Culinary Clubhouse in Garden City, NY is looking for a passionate and energetic Culinary Teacher to inspire the next generation of home cooks and food enthusiasts! This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of food, cooking techniques, and kitchen creativity in a fun, hands-on learning environment. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on culinary lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels

Demonstrate proper cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen safety protocols

Develop creative, seasonal, and age-appropriate recipes and curriculum

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen classroom environment

Guide and supervise students throughout food preparation and cooking activities

Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere

Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment as needed

Requirements:

Experience in culinary arts, food service, or professional cooking

Prior teaching, instructing, or mentoring experience preferred

Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Ability to engage and connect with children, teens, and/or adults

ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain

Enthusiastic, patient, and creative personality with a passion for food education
