The Culinary Vegetable Institute is located in a private scenic setting in Milan, Ohio where special events are held throughout the year where guests experience fine dining at its best. Currently we are looking to fill a part time position as Kitchen/Grounds Assistant working 15-25 per week. Days of the week may vary based on scheduled events. A variety of responsibilities will vary as needed and will include but not be limited to:* Maintain gardens that would include watering, planting flowers, weeding, etc.* Assist in the Kitchen - food prep, dishwashing, sweeping/mopping floors and keeping kitchen at its best for unexpected guests* Assist at scheduled events as needed as a Server - filling glasses, serving dishes, removing used dinnerwear, cleaning tables, assist with event set-up/take-down.QualificationsAbility to communicate successfully both verbally and in writing. Friendly outgoing disposition. Previous serving experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license if driving for the business of THE CVI or The Chef's Garden, Inc. EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
