Our Delivery team is responsible for picking up orders from the warehouse and operating a company vehicle to transport and deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers within a designated service area. In this position, duties will include loading/unloading deliveries, maintaining delivery records, providing excellent customer service, and conducting pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Retrieve orders from the warehouse, carefully loading products onto the delivery vehicle
• Follow provided routes and delivery schedules in an efficient manner
• Operate the delivery vehicle in a safe and legal manner, obeying all traffic laws
• Assist with unloading deliveries at customer sites, providing excellent customer service
• Obtain customer signatures or capture proof of delivery as required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and mileage driven
• Perform daily vehicle inspection and report any issues or needed maintenance
• Comply with all company policies and Department of Transportation regulations
• Support other tasks as assigned by our Warehouse Manager

S kills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Minimum of 1 year of delivery driver or similar driving experience

• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and maneuver deliveries safely

• Strong sense of direction and route mapping skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Knowledge of local area streets and traffic patterns

• Flexibility to work varying hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends

• High school diploma or equivalent

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet, hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions. Employee may occasionally be required to travel for deliveries, to other Berlin's locations as business needs dictate (i.e., training, business continuation, etc.).
