Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas with support by the Sr. HR Manager: training, organizational development, employee relations, recruitment and general compensation and benefit support. This role will partner with managers and employees to provide general HR support for the Culligan NA Dealer Channel, with remote sites in states across the US.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTION:
Respond to employee inquires on topics including benefits, employee relations, company policies and other issues
Provide a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures, employee relation concerns, and employee development needs
Partner with and coach local management on performance management, progressive disciplinary actions and general employee relations items
Partner with HR team to assist with identifying opportunities for the implementation of programs, policies and procedures
Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance employee retention within the Culligan Dealer Channel business
Ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures and act as the subject matter expert on compliance with regards to state-specific employment laws and regulations
Support the ongoing roll-out of compliance-related trainings
Perform administrative tasks for the LMS - Update/add employee or dealer information into our on-line training system
Track and push successful completion of required trainings
Facilitate the Talent Review Process and performance management program (counseling process/annual performance review) for assigned business groups
Support local managers in the full cycle recruiting and onboarding process for assigned business groups
Assist in the creation and maintenance of job descriptions, Initiate job posting process, source candidates, etc.
Conduct interviews and provide feedback to management
Other special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5 years of Human Resource experience
Experience supporting multi-location business units
Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations
Experience with Microsoft office applications, LMS, ATS and HRIS, preferably UltiPro
