Position: Human Resource Business Partner

Location: Rosemont, IL - Hybrid

Responsibilities: The HR Business Partner is the main point of contact for assigned business units regarding HR related initiatives including Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Training, and Recruitment. Partnering with employees and business unit leaders, this role works to ensure business units are set up to meet their strategic objectives from a talent perspective.

Specific Job Function:

• Provide a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures, employee relation concerns, and employee development needs
• Develop, implement and maintain employee onboarding process; conduct employee onboarding
• Facilitate the Talent Review Process and performance management program (counseling process/annual performance review) for assigned business groups
• Develop and implement HR programs to support strategic business initiatives
• In partnership with HR Manager, develop and assist with DEI initiatives and support implementation of best practices
• Support full cycle recruiting for assigned business groups including preparing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, interviewing; manage feedback, etc.
• Develop and conduct training programs as needed in partnership with Training Administrator.
• Maintain HR KPI reporting as needed i.e., turnover reports, Topgrading reports, etc.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance employee retention and engagement.
• HR Systems management – Direct contact for vendor, project lead new initiatives and internal next level support of system.
• Provide support to employees in regard to benefit plans and benefit enrollment
• Benchmark best practices and legal requirements to support policy development and communication.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ Degree
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in full cycle recruiting, navigating through applicant tracking systems and job boards
• Experience with HR Information Systems – Ultipro experience a plus
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations
