Job Description

Senior Litigation Paralegal (FTE) Responsible for the management and training of firm Paralegals and Legal Assistants. The Senior Litigation Paralegal must be proficient in the substantive areas of law and expert in the procedures applicable to the firm’s practice areas, and all aspects of the roles of Paralegals and Legal Assistants, and must possess exceptional organizational and technical skills. The Senior Litigation Paralegal must also possess and maintain all requirements for being a billing member of the firm. The Senior Litigation Paralegal reports primarily to the Practice Management Chair. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: • Manage training for Paralegals and Legal Assistants. • Select and coordinate training for electronic filing. • Supervise paralegal work product. • Supervise paralegal matters. • Supervise e-filing. • Supervise document management and RMO file organization. • Conduct and report on semi-annual reviews of Paralegals and Legal Assistants. • Provide input to the partners regarding hiring needs and hiring decisions. • Other duties as assigned.
