​Culture Flipper is looking for a remote, freelance Food Science Expert in Korean and English.

We are seeking a seasoned food science expert who will review technical documents as a subject matter expert in our localized content creation process.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit glossaries of technical terms in the food science field.
• Run quality audits on English translations of various documents for food science against the Korean source

Requirements:

• Proven minimum 3 years experience in food research and development or nutritional analysis
• Experience in health food industry or food marketing preferred
• Excellent linguistic skills in English and Korean
• Ability to comprehend technical documents in Korean
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science or Life Science (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Medicine, Chemistry) preferred

Candidates will be invited to take a sample written test. Depending on the test results, the successful candidates will be able to negotiate their rates and be onboarded as a freelancer for a 3-month pilot phase. Depending on their performance during the pilot phase, they will be given the opportunity to renegotiate their rates.
