Support Specialist Electrician (2nd or 3rd Shift)
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.
Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
Fully proficient in performing troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
Conforms applicable codes and standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems.
Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) - Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. Stop work and immediately report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Requires 6 years of experience OR an associate degree with two to four years of relevant experience OR a Trade certificate with six years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor certification.
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A strong industrial/manufacturing background is preferred.
Knowledge of PLCs, CNC Controls, Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision) preferred.
The ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
Ability to work schedule – 2nd Shift, Mon – Fri 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, with mandatory and voluntary overtime based on the needs of the facility.
Pay rate starts at $31.00/hr with an additional $1.50/hr. Shift differential.
