Curbs Plus, Inc., headquartered in Ringgold, Georgia, leads the industry in quality, responsiveness, and on-time delivery. 

CURBS PLUS, INC. is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a PURCHASING AGENT for the MOUNT UNION, PA manufacturing facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Purchase raw material, machinery, tools, or services necessary for the operation of the facility.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to alleviate shortages and effectively support production.
• Based on business needs; generate, track, and receive purchase orders through ERP system.
• Continually develop and maintain professional vendor and customer relationships through electronic and verbal communication.
• Communicate with management and internal departments regarding order and delivery status, sourcing material, and clarify transactional inconsistencies.
• Participate in monthly physical inventory. Perform inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
• Demonstrate a willingness to understand our product and material needs.
• General clerical duties include running reports, operate office equipment, maintaining records, answering phones, and filing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or inventory management; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a PLUS.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Internet research.
• Working knowledge of Sage 100 a PLUS.
